Katsura Hair + Beauty Products was born from a hairdresser and salon owner of over 20 years behind the hair chair, products sales, and salon ownership.
From the beginning, right out of beauty school, Rachel realized how necessary the prescribed products are to maintaining a client’s new style and what better quality premium products are, compared to drug store brands.
With a desire to provide fantastic products to clients at an affordable price, Rachel began the process of stocking her favorite products when they were on sale so that she could pass those savings onto her clients. That created an opportunity for more clients to enjoy her prescribed products, straight from the manufacturer, tried-and-true in the salon chair.
Rachel understands that hair and beauty products are expensive. We know scouring internet retailers, reading reviews, and visiting local stores for a good deal is tiring and time-consuming, so we hope you will trust that we sell only what Rachel's clients love and purchase over and over.
We are here to help you! Our team buys professional products from local distributors daily as each item goes on sale, and then we pass that savings on to you, the customer.
Our goal at Katsura Hair + Beauty Products is to provide our clients and customers with the premium professional products that many hairdressers recommend, shipped to you at a discounted price.
If you do not see a product or brand that you love, please send us an email with the name and what you love about it, and we will do our best to source it. If you notice that your favorite product is on our website, but not discounted, unfortunately, that means we have not been able to buy it on sale this time and are offering it at full-retail price until we can discount it. Check back regularly, though! As soon as we can source them on sale, we buy in bulk and offer that discount to you.
You may wonder where the name Katsura came from... Rachel, being born in Tokyo, Japan, is an avid gardener. She strategically placed one of her several Katsura trees outside her salon window next to her hair chair. Her clients enjoy its beautiful leaves, changing colors from spring to winter, and the Katsura's branches provide respite for several resident hummingbirds year round, which her clients also enjoy.
